Happy November!!

Hello to you all out there! Isn't it so crazy that it is November already?! October flew by so fast! It is definitely starting to feel like fall now, the weather is becoming so crisp and cold, and all the leaves are almost off the trees!

November is such an awesome month because I am excited to share with you all fun Thanksgiving crafts and treats that you can make with your kids, and many others as well!

In preparation for the Thanksgiving weekend, I thought it would be awesome to share with you a craft that you can do to decorate your house and make it a little more Thanksgiving themed. What better item to represent Thanksgiving than a TURKEY!

Materials Needed:

*Toilet Paper Roll
*Scissors
*Fall-colored construction paper
*Googly Eyes or a black marker
*Writing utensil
*Glue

Instructions:

1. Take your scissors and cut slits towards the top of the toilet paper roll to make a beak for the turkey. Fold the two slits up.
2. Take your construction paper and trace your hand on each and cut out. (These will act as the turkey's feathers.
3. With the extra red paper left over, cut a wattle for the turkey's neck.
4. Take the googly eyes or your black marker and put eyes on the turkey.
5. Glue the hand prints to the back of the turkey to act as the feathers!

Happy Gobbling!
