Trick or Treat?!

Happy Halloween!!!!
What a great day to not only go out and trick or treat with your kids, but this is also a great time to make yummy food for fellow neighbors at a Halloween party! I am excited to share with you two different foods that you and your child can make together!

Mummys in a "Blanket"

Ingredients Needed:
Mummy Hot Dogs Recipe-Hot dogs
-1 oz tube of refridgerated baking dough (Pillsbury usually has this)
-1 egg
-1 tbsp. of water
-Mustard and/or ketchup

Directions:
1. The dough should easily separate into strips
2. Lighty wrap the dough around the hot dog, leaving an area at the top for the face of the mummy
** It might b easiest to cut off a small strip of dough before wrapping so you can place it at the very top for the head of the mummy
3. Place the wrapped hot dog on a greased tray
4. Mix together egg and water and with lightly cover the dough with a brush over the hot dog
5. Place the full tray of "mummys" in the oven at 350 degrees for 14-16 minutes or when golden brown.
6. Remove the tray and take the mustard or ketchup and place two dots for the eyes of the mummy.

Ghost Pops

Ingrediants Needed:
-Tootsie Roll pops and/or Blow Pops
-Tissue
-Black permanent marker
-Orange and black ribbon

Directions:
1. Take the tissue and cover the top of the lollipop of your choice
2. To keep it on, take each ribbon color and tie around to secure the tissue on the lollipop
3. Take the mark and draw the face of a ghost

Happy Halloween!
